It's Friday, my first day of work!! Quite excited actually, but at the same time quite afraid...cos i don't know who are the people i am working with and it seems like i am the only teenager working there so the age gap between my colleages and i are quite big. As i am still not quite familiarise with the way, i met up with my godma and aaron first before we headed for work together. I reached the station at 8.00 and my work started at 8.30 and i am supposed to travel bus 95 before i could reach my workplace. But i waited for around 20 mins before both of them appeared and we quickly rushed to the bus stop. We boarded the bus and when we thought we could reach the workplace on time, there was a serious jam near NUH and we were jammed for like 10 mins? Quite a long wait..especially when we are going to be late for work! Reached my workplace's basement at 8.45 and i quickly rushed to my office on the 4th floor. Guess WAT??? I AM LATE ON MY FIRST DAY OF WORK!!! Guess what my colleages will think of me?? Bad impression on the first start and when i entered the place, it was like everyone was already there working and i just reached...haiz..but after that everything was fine. My colleages who are sitting around me helped me in my work and are very friendly too. Nice people. The rest were like ok ok only, but later in the afternoon some came and talked to me. All of them are really nice nicesh people! They made me feel although i have been working there for a long time.

First day of work, my assistant manager, a really sweet lady, introduced those computer stuff to me and brought me the way of the pantry and the washroom. After that, i proceeded to work. Daisy, who is supposed to supervise me, gave me some easy work for a start. I had to photocopied some documents for the undergraduates students..it was quite fun actually...i was like " clicking and clicking", "printing and printing" ike nobody business haha..seemed like i occupied the whole printing machine to myself.Not i selfish but there were really a lot of documents to be photocopied. It was fun "playing" with photocopying machine.Can't seem to get enough of printing but i shall have more chance of that for the next few weeks. i kept on asking for work each time i finished each and time passed real fast when you are working at something.

& it was lunch time! 1pm-2pm. Went to NUH basement canteen to eat. Ate with godma and aaron and together with my mum's friends. It was two bus stops away so we took a shuttle bus there and back to the office. Had lemon chicken rice, quite nice, huge amount of chicken and the soup was delicious. $3.00 was definitely worth it.

Back to work again..Helped out with some data entries till about 4 plus when Daisy asked me to go down to the basement for a party for the staffs. I first i was wondering where we were going. I wasn't sure what was that actually..think it's some monthly staff party at the end of each month..not very sure. My colleages said i was lucky to be able to take part in this on my first day of work. Haha, maybe. Some of the staffs put up a Roti Prata performance which was quite funny and lame. And the president of NUS was there too. First day of work experienced so many things..so lucky of me! After the performance, there was a mini buffet and i ate some wafers,that's all as i was still full at that time. Went back to office at around 5 and worked for another half an hour and off back to my home. Friday will only have to work till 5.30 while the rest of the days have to work till 6.00.

That's about all for the day..Quite a nice day on my first day of work. Enjoyed it very much! Hope it will be as enjoyable as it was on friday for the coming weeks. =)
