It's Christmas Eve!=)

WEnt out with Bao Bei with 2 plus. He planned the whole day and he wanted to give me a surprise for the whole day by not telling me where we will be going and what we will be doing. But his hp gave him away by sending the wrong sms to me and telling me the place. =)

So we headed to Vivo first cos he said he wanted to do sth. He wanted to reserve seats at Swensens/ Thai Express but they don't take reservations today so we decided to go to the hawker center and had a second lunch cos we will be having a late dinner.

Had chicken rice and while we were having it, it began to drizzle. What a day to start with but nevertheless i had lots of fun!!!

We paid the admission tickets and took the blue line to the UnderWorld to buy tickets for it. I was quite excited cos this is the first time that i am going in my entire life. Ya, this is how pathetic my life is. The queue was long...long...long...we had to wait for so long before our turn cos only one counter was open. But luckily, we were clever enough. We went to the other counter where we saw the cashier was counting the money, the counter was still close yet so we dunno if it was closed already or it was going to open but we just stood there for a while then the manager asked us to wait there for the counter to open. And we became the second one to buy tickets! =) So we don't need to queue up for so long.

The cashier asked us to go to for the last dolphin lagoon show first cos it's 530pm and by the time we bought the tickets it was nearing 5pm. And we were supposed to take the red line in order to reach Dolphin Lagoon and there was a long queue as well.

Then, i thought of one brilliant idea. I suggested taking the Siloso Beach Tram to the beach station and then take the Palawan/ Tanjong Beach Tram instead of taking the bus tram. And it worked!!! And hence we could sit down and enjoy the scenery and avoid the crowd from the others! =)Credits all goes to last time when i kept going to sentosa from the previous OG/SC outing.

When we reached there, we thought we were stupid, cos we should have bought the tickets at Dolphin Lagoon instead of Underwater World, but nvm.

Here's the crowd of people at the Dolphin Lagoon.

Can you see the crowd there? And it was raining at that point of time and people like us were standing in the rain watching the show. We had to wait for quite a while before the show starts due to the slight rain and there were some inconsiderate people who stood in front and blocked the view...

The dolphin show

So we stood in the rain and watched the show. It was quite nice wanted to take more pictures but the dolphns were moving fast so it was quite difficult to capture the pictures and he told me to enjoy the show instead. So yep, only managed a few..the show was enjoyable but short.

After that, we took the same trams back again to Underwater World and we met a funny and nice uncle driving the tram. =) There are so many nice workers at sentosa.

THen we entered UNderWater World. So ExCITED!! First time first time. I was looking forward to the one where we have to go under the tank and there will be the travelator where you can stand and see the marine life swimming. =) But then Bao Bei came and shocked me and told me that they had renovated the Underwater World and the thing was removed. =( But it was still there lah dun worry. =)

Before we went there, we went to other places.

First stop: TOuching Area

There were many species of fishes inside and we could put our hands in and touch them. PufferFish, STARFISH=), Bamboo SHarks, and some other fishes which i can't remember. THere were a lot of people crowding over there so i couldn't really touch the fish, and partly because i was scared. But i still went to touch the Bamboo Shark. YA, I ACTUALLY TOUCHED SHARKS! That's because the sharks don't move unlike other species. The texture of their skin was somewhat like styrofoam. A bit scary, i am scared of touching softy stuff.

Second Stop: StingGrays

Many many of them swimming around in the small area. And there were some digusting looking ones. I wanted to touch too but they were moving too fast.

Third stop:

There were some small tanks at one corner of the underwater and there were some interesting species in there. THey include some special looking eels and some snakes looking species, colouful stone fishes, and there's one which shows the growth of the embryo of the baby shark and they were still moving in there. Scary!!!!
Some other interesting ones are SeaHorses. And we saw some super enormous fishes there. It's really BIG! I think it's about the same size as me, or even bigger. And Bao Bei said last time when he went rafting at Malaysia, he encountered this kind of fish that big too and he was scared. Haha, so funny cos he's seldom scared of things.

Before we went into the tank, we went to a section where a species of the fish looks like angel. And it really looks like an angel swimming in the water when you take a closer look at it. And the center part there is orange in colour while the rest of the body is transparent in colour. Very nice.

Forth Stop: There came the exciting part, we went into the tank and be with the fishes!

I like there a lot. It's really nice in there. You can get to see a lot of different species in there and there's school of fishes swimming around too. And the most special things are you can to see lots and lots of sharks in there. Different Species somemore.

Bao Bei has a special liking for sharks and so we spent the most time(~1 hours plus) there taking pictures here and there. Mostly SHARKS. He was trying to capture the teeth of the sharks and me/him with the shark swimming in our direction, but my camera was just giving us problems that day, not co-operating with us. It's time i get a new camera. Any sponsor? =)

And guess wad? We took about 80 plus pictures in all. All sharks. And that makes my camera dead after taking so many sharks shots. It took us quite some time and skills before we could capture some nice pictures.

Time was getting late and it's time for dinner! Took the bus tram to the bus departure and during one of the stops, one big swarm of people rushed, squeezed(i really mean rush)into the bus as though there were people attacking them and they were running away. Tsk tsk tsk.So KIASU. Typical Singaporeans. And the noise and air pollution was terrible when they entered the bus. So noisy and they stinked!

Alighted then we walked across the bridge to Vivo though it's raining. Had Thai Express for dinner.

After eating, Bao Bei became mysterious again and did not want to tell me what we are going to do. He bluffed me we were going to watch The Curse of The Golden Flower. While walking, Haagen Daaz caught my eyes and i was pestering him for ice cream again. I have been pestering him for Haagen Daz for a long time and he brought me to th entrance. At first he was just joking when he brought me there/i thought he had finally decided to let me eat in order to let his ears rest but then he told me it was already planned. =)

Chose a seat outside, thinking that we could enjoy the scenary and the ice cream at the same time, who knows, when we went out, we were totally disappointed. The scenary wasn't nice at all cos it was blocked and it wasn't anywhere near the scenary either.

It's my first time to eat Haagen Dazz Ice Cream at Haagen Dazz. Before the ice cream was served, he took out Royce Chocolate and fed me. Sweet Sweet Sweet. Even though he has already bought me another box of ROyce Chocolate. I ordered Waffle Dream while he ordered Banana Spilt. The price was a bit steep and it was much more expensive than our dinner!!! I chose Macademia Nuts and sth chocolate. I totally fell in love with Macademia Nut! It's heavenly. The nicest ice cream i have ever eaten. His Mango ice cream was nice too. It tastes more than eating a fruit than an ice cream.

After eating, we exchanged presents. I bought him shades while his was a jigsaw puzzle. He said he wanted us to piece it together after i opened up his present but he said the puzzle was too difficult already so we wouldn't finish in time. But the thought was sweet enough!!!

It was getting late so we decided to take a cab home and he stayed at my house till 1 plus before he went off.
