Today was a great day with Flat Football tournament in the morning 830 to 1pm. Though the results was bad, way too bad for us to imagine, but all of us have the sportsmanship of cheering one another on and having fun though we were defeated badly. :) I think having fun is the most important thing in a game right?
Told Yvonne not to be late today but i ended up being one of the latest cos i miscalculated the time i had to wake up. Took bus with sec sis to school cos she was on her way to school as well.
On the way to the field, NP held a x-campus run and i saw commonwealth faces there. Jamie, YiHUi, WenBin and some other girls were preparing for the race at the starting line. It was nice to see them again.:)(some of them got medals and did the school proud)
We went to the field across the bridge as a whole and ended up the coach telling us that the field was unplay-able due to the mud so we had to postpone the match till 10 @ Sports Complex.
The first match was delayed till 1030 before the game kicked off. We were at a disadvantage as we have the most number of girls playing while the rest of the groups have only 2 girls and the opponents were all guys.
From the start, we kept losing to our opponents and some of us became vey agitated and frustrated by the results, hence some of the guys in our group became hiong and went all the way out. They banged some of the guys down at some point of time we were quite happy cos we were really upset about the results.
We played with two teams, both teams comprised of all guys, which led to us having disadvantage again, but then again, guys cannot touch girls so it's gd in a way too.
During another match, there was one guy who was so unhappy when one of our teammate banged him and he complained to the referee. Luckily, Spencer and Umar (another senior) defended us cos this game was supposed to be rough. And all the girls were like saying him having girl's hormones, cant even stand a bit of pain.
During the breaks and after the game, all of us were demoralised by the scores but teammates were still encouraging and cheering us on, which makes us feel a little better and motivated for the next game. Nice teammates make the match more enjoyable and play-able.
After the whole match has ended, we took some photos as this was our last game with them. Hope we would still keep in touch with one another!

J, the super strong and hiong guy!

Thanks every flag footballer for making SW an enjoyable sessions for me, for the wonderful time we spent together 'rolling in the mud', for the joy and laughter we had, for the complaints that we had about the super muddy field. Really thank every single of you for making it such a memorable event for me.:)
