Childhood Memories

Sorry if my blog takes real long to load. You know why. Blame the pictures!

I realised i have been putting up pictures for almost every entry, but just be patient with my blog cos good things are worth waiting for, right?

*silence means consent*

*grin*

I & E PART (I)

And so we headed down to Marymount Center (Marian Center) @ Thomson in the evening to proceed with our games event (part one). Just to get to know the kids there a little better before we started painting with the kids on the actual day (20/06/07), which i would most probably name it the most chaotic day.

Did some introduction with the kids and spilt the groups up into two. (Yvonne and Jerric uncle) + (Me and Kevin Uncle). Actually, what we did was that we told the kids to spilt themselves up, which is they go to the group they like.

After which, we proceed with our games in our mini group. This time, they introduced themselves to us.

Oh ya, The kids were really funny. They only called the guys uncle and called us jie jies. Lucky them, i hate it when people called me AUNTY!! *stares*

During the introduction. They were so camera shy!

While playing our first game: Murderer.
This is the favourite game among the kids.
All of them like this game so much they kept asking us to repeat this game over and over again.
And and, what can i say about them? They are so innocent lah, the civilians kept saying out who the murderer was!! *faint*
We had a hard time explaining the games to them.
Firstly, the age gap is quite big and some of them still could not understand after several explanations.
Secondly, they were so noisy!!! while we were explaining the rules to them. They didn't even give us a chance to talk! Luckily for us, there is one volunteer, Miss Shirley to help us control the chaotic situation.

So loveable(: Jerome and Victoria. (There are only two boys in the entire children's center.)

The children was asking us persistantly to play Eagle catch Chicks (Lao Ying Zhua Xiao Ji) with them, so we obliged since there was still some time left.
At first, Miss shirley told us that they were very serious in this game and we thought how bad could it be?
After playing, i regretted my decision. Not that i regretted. But then they were really active, perhaps i am too old for this game anymore.
Kevin and I were sweating like hell after a while and the kids were still so hyper-active.
So we had no choice but to continue playing with them, panting.
In the end, we were all sweats.
But it's fun after all. (:
Relieved my childhood memories.

I am the Mu Ji (the mother hen trying hard to protect my little chicks)
The girl right behind me, Cindy, was so cute but she pulled my shirt real hard, i was so afraid that my shirt would tear off any moment!

Kevin, the evil Eagle, with super long legs!

*PantingIntroducing to you : Jerric, the uncle who likes to eat KOPI sweets.

Jerric and Yvonne's Group. (Displaying their own animal in animal game)

My & Kevin's Group! They are so so loveable, though difficult to handle.

One BIG Family! (:
