The fire engines and all took quite some time to arrive and crowds began to gather below the block as well. Of cos, i was one of the audience as well, except that i was looking through my window (if not i wouldn't be here narrating the incident.)
I think there wasn't anybody at home (maybe they forgot to off the stove before going out and the SCDF men took quite long before they managed to put out the fire. Actually i was waiting for the scene whereby the SCDF would use the 'ladder' to extinguish the fire but they only used fire extinguishers. *disappointed* But it's not that i was wishing the house would caught fire in the first place.
I don't know how to say, either the kids are pure innocent or just stupid. I know they were curious and excited about being able to encounter this type of situation about all this 'adventurous and exciting' firemen trying to put out the fire or whatever, they stood below the building, where the house was directly located above. It would have been havoc/ they might get hurt if there's some explosion.
Luckily the fire was put into control.
People, please be careful!!
don't let this type of situation happen to you. *choy choy choy*
p/s:was supposed to meet up with Sean Gor today (last minute plan) to go for a run but i was so tired after the papers so i decided to stay at home and sleep instead.
