Finally got to see my boyf after a long and taxing week.
(:
It has been my motivation to finish the exams as fast as possible and at the same time doing well so i won't feel so guilty after post exams.

Took a train to Buona Vista to satisfy my duck rice cravings for the past weeks. And it still taste as yummy as ever!

@ Vivo, we got approached by volunteers to help out in building a house for the poor by purchasing a brick. When they said building a house and brick, we really thought it was brick but it turned out to be a packet of Yeo's drink. -_-

We didn't know about it till we went back to donate.
Being such kind souls to go back and donate $2 (seriously,who would really do that?), all we got in return was :"Wah, they really came back leh!" This sentence was so disheartening that both of us almost decided not to donate and just leave. But we couldn't really blame them for thinking that way cos if i were them, i would think that anyone who say "we'll be back." wouldn't really come back.

(Before that we wanted to buy tickets for Shrek but the earliest time slot available is 8 @ night and we didn't want to spend so long in vivo.
Conclusion: Vivo is nv a good place to watch a movie cos it's always packed and the seats aren't really comfortable.)

So we diverted our attention to GREAT SINGAPORE SALES!
BUT
GSS wasn't as exciting as it seemed to be.
Those items on sale were either old stocks or the discount wasn't as attractive enough OR there's nothing on sale that i fancied.
):
So it was merely pure window shopping.

Our window shopping lists consisted mainly of:

looking at his formal shoes
GUESS wallet
Guess Watch
Other stuffs

It's the first time i actually stepped into River Island.

i saw a really pretty white shorts but it costs a bomb!!

95 bucks. *sigh*

They sure know how to make big bucks out of customers.

We then took 65 down to town for part (II) of our GSS window shopping. Shopped around the almost same shops again before we went to buy tickets for Shrek 3 @ Cineleisure.

Dinner was at Crystal Jade @ Taka. It was my first again. We had to wait quite long before we could actually enter.The way they serve was quite hong kong-ie style. There's a menu where you have to tick furthermore, there are quite a number of hong kong-ers working there.We ordered Xiao Long Bao (cos i heard it's famous for it).

Spicy and sour La Mian for ME. Chicken Chop La Mian for HIM.

The food there just wasn't my type, just like i couldn't eat Da Xin too.

Xiao Long Bao tasted like a smalll version of Chicken Bao to me, just that it has soup inside which was too salty for me.Spicy and Sour La Mian was okay, and the La Mian was quite nice. But the serving was so BIG, i couldn't even finish half of it.

Oh, i forgot to mention that we bought Famous Amos to eat, after we failed to resist the temptation of the aroma of the biscuist coming out from the shop. We had cereal and cinammon, i think. Too sweet for us but it's still nice.

As usual, we smuggled Green Tea & the packet of Amos to the cinema and enjoyed the 1hr45 mins of Shrek.

It was shorter than i thought it was, as in it only seemed to be an hour movie to me. But well, the show was average i would say, not really a fanatic of Ogre actually.

After the movie, we wandered around orchard aimlessly @ 10 plus cos it was still quite early and we did not want to go home too early.

We wanted to go to Esplanade or back to vivo but it would have been too late we've done so. (for him to give me the 'surprise' which i knew what it was. Have to admit that i am real good at guessing presents!Hahaha.)

Walk --> walking ---> walked.

And we came to some unknown places, which happened to have some unique and beautiful buildings.Came to a pub as well which look quite vintage and that's where we took 174 home.

Alighted at JJC, which was the nearest bus stop from my home for this particular bus. By saying the nearest, i meant 30 plus blocks in order to reach my house.

But the distance doesn't seem so long when he's around. (:

Along the way, boyf was feeling thirsty so he went to buy drink at 24 hr market
The service was horribly bad.The aunty and uncle just ignored him and did their own things and he got super pissed off. The uncle did not tell the aunty that we were taking away when we actually did tell the uncle very CLEARLY that we were taking it away.So somehow, we left the place super unhappy. And i think the aunty, was buai song too.She gave my boy a lousy plastic bag such that when he was poking the straw through the ice, the bag just tore and there went our drink.

Home sweet home.

And i got a gorgeous leather belt from him.
