All set to go!
I carried my backpack, like a little kid always so excited about field trips.
Actually, i didn't want to go, mainly because of the expensive admission ticket.
But since it's fully sponsored by my sis, of cos i grabbed at the opportunity! Hah.
Such a cheapskate sis huh?
At the entrance, the first thing we did was to take out our camera and snap snap snap! with all the animals and the big 'SINGAPORE ZOO' (:
Tourists alike
With the sea lion. We were trying to touch its whiskers.
elephants! i like this pic!
Okay, after a few shots of the enthusiasim photos, we went to buy the admission tickets. We also bought the unlimited tram ride which costs an additional $5. But in the end, we only took it once!!!! Such a waste of money!!!
i'm a little lazy to blog about every single details so i'll just let photos do the talking!
Me, with the cute monkey!
i was trying to cover my just-rebonded hair from the stinky smell of the zoo! and the sun rays as well. Looks like a foreign worker going for work huh?
Me with my Outdoor bag! Haven't been carrying it for ages.
My FAVOURITE WHITE TIGER!!!! ((: i think it's one of the main attractions in the zoo cos many people were swarming at the area.
this particular one is the one which keeps walking back and fro.
i realised every cat family does that!
we arrived in australia!!!
This is one of the nicest places i went, with cute kangaroos hopping around and they could jump out of their enclosed area to an open area where visitors could be in contact with them.
Too bad when we were near the area, the kangaroo hopped back to where it belonged.
On the tram.
Guess who i saw in the tram? i saw my school's CIP lecturer there as well, with her two kids and her maid along.
still camwhoring...
Sudden attack from me while sis was trying to camwhore! haha.
Zoo map!
Oh! and we went for two animal shows. One was the splash animal show @ 230pm by the jackass penguins, the sealions while the other one was animal friends show @430pm performed by white rats and dogs.
Both of the shows were packed with people okay? for the first one, we had no choice but to sit on the stairs to enjoy the show even though we reached there before 2.
The super smart sea lion - philip
jackass penguins!! so cute!!!
the weather was tormenting us!
When visiting the arctic animals - Polar Bear!
infatuated with my sister. *puke*
what was i doing?!
i really had no idea what i was doing!
thank god for the fan!
With the super smelly and full of mud rhino!
the only horse carriage in singapore! we wanted to try this and the elephant ride, if we hadn't bought the tram ride! which was a total waste!
white with black stripes or black with white stripes?
we were trying to imitate the giraffees' long neck!
Note: these two photos are not zoomed. it's the actual distance we were with the tallest animal in the world.
there's a pavilion whereby we could take a clearer view at the giraffees and they came towards the pavilion in less than 1 m with us!!! and we could take an extremely good view of it and there's a zookeeper keeping a lookout and warning visitors not to get to close to them.
my related relative
the lions!
Notice there's a female lion whose sleeping position was so funny!
Before we went to the tropical crops side, we took a rest at one of those sheltered area and we saw something really funny.
There's one family who is dispensing some drinks from the vending machine and he kept pressing the white button, which was the reset button over and over again, thinking that that was the button to dispense out the drink.
There's another family who came shortly after, and there's three kids in the family. you know, being a kid, you wouldn't like to share drinks with other people, even your closest bro or parents. So in taking a short break, the daddy had to spend $9 just on three bottles of coke.
& the funny part was the kids were shaking their cokes, not knowing of the consequences, then handed it to the daddy to open!
And viola! Small explosion came out from the bottle and half of the drink was gone!
it was so funny that we couldn't stop laughing!
With the mangosteens. love this pic!
those gigantic water lilies!!! we were imitating to be frogs on its favourite lily pad!
there's a little green frog one day...
Not a perfect 'L' yet.
finally, a proper L shaped.
L for liu lian!! (hokkien for durians, we came out with this joke somehow yesterday while i was talking to my cousin)
keeping my fringe from the sweat!
Real or Fake?

@ Elephants of Asia
Nice photo taken by lousy photographer!
i'm an elephant!!
okay, i am a bit fascinated with my current hair, so just let me camwhored a little ok?!
that's all! now i stink with the smell of zoo!
OH oh! Forgot to mention that there's an engagement going on that day and the place they chose for the engagement was so beautiful and romantic.
The groom sat on the elephant ride to the place and halfway, the elephants just poo-ed while walking! Haha. And stank the whole place!
