On the eve of cny, baby booked out of camp, bathed and went to buy my birthday present so that he could hand it to me when the clock strikes 12 on the 7th. But it turned out to be a futile trip cos all the shops were closed in the afternoon.

I met up with him later in the evening for a short after reunion dinner at granny's. He offered to buy me ben& jerry's ice cream (which is rare enough) as a substitute present. clever him huh?Haha.

Though there wasn't any present(not that present matters), it was enough to lift a smile on my face cos he's the first person to wish me in person, plus the hugs and kisses. ((:

Celebration was the day after because he said he wanted to get my present first before meeting me. & he was late!! Mainly bcause something cropped out in the midst and things didn't work out as he planned to. tell you more about it later.

I was guessing that he would be buying me a bouquet of flowers, since i've been asking for the longest time in the world. & i was right, but there was no flowers. When he came, there was a bag on his hands, and only that bag.

He explained that he had previously ordered sunflowers from some @#$%^ florist shop at IMM but on the day itself, the florist owner told him that the fresh sunflowers would only arrive at 3 plus, which was very late! and baby couldn't wait that long cos he's meeting me. So the flowers were postponed to Valentine's day. at least i still got my flowers. HEE =D

He asked me to close my eyes while he took out the present that he bought for me. Actually i already know that it's going to be a jewellery since the paper bag stated CITIGEM (and he bought it before he came plus i once hinted him before that citigems sell very unique jewelleries) but still..didn't want to spoil the surprise that he had for me so i just went along with him. (:

He put it on for me and i wore my present out. the feeling of wearing something expensive on you is quite a scary experience. One moment i'm scared that it would drop halfway, the other moment i have to keep touching my ear to make sure that it's still intact.

Sweeney Todd was at The Cathay. There's only two words to describe the movie. AWFULLY GROSS! No wonder it's a M18 show. The sliting of throat, the idea of killing people to make human buns, the throwing of human bodies into the grinder.eeewwww. THANKS BABY FOR BRINGING TO WATCH THIS MOVIE ON MY BIRTHDAY HUH!HAHA.

Then we went to Vivo for dinner @ Hong Kong Kim Gary. there's a wide variety of food and i mean really A LOT. i think i spent around 15 mins cos all dish looks so delicious to me and i took so long that baby was pissed with me for choosing so long.

& the food is really NICE!!!!! the drinks too. The drinks were served in a cute glass bottle and it's especially sweet -looking when drink with strawberry ice which i didn't try!!!! totally regretted it when i saw so many people enjoying it and i could only drink my topical fruit sth. Going to try it next time.

After dinner, we went to sentosa. Before the tram entrance, a kind mother actually offered her cards to us (she was about to leave then) when we were about to buy the tickets but she didn't know that the card would not be able to use after she exits but i still think she was really nice.

We went to Sentosa Flowers 2008 to see the blooming flowers. there was an enormous crowd there but we still had a nice time walking around looking at the full bloom flowers and there's some really interesting ones.

we were supposed to be going to the beach but baby was feeling too well that day so we decided to leave early.

i had a really really nice birthday this year.
