morning gloom

my saturday morning wasn't a good one, from the time moment i woke up till noon. it started off with one of my eye being itchy and super red(it's really super irritating & i had to apply eyedrop 10x a day!), spreading to my perfectly alright left eye (i was so scared that the viral thing will spread to that eye!), then my tooth hurts. i'm not sure whether it's a tooth decay or it's caused by the wisdom tooth growing behind that made chewing so unbearable on the left side. that's not all, i was supposed to go over to my granny's house to ask her to help me to fry potatoes which i bought the previous day which i wanted to surprise boyfriend, turned out that my granny wasn't home from the market yet & i was running out of time to prepare. After all these things that happened to me all at one shot, you could imagine how pissed off i was, then at 12 plus, boyf called me and said he was still at home when he told me that he's going to reach at 12 plus. argh! okay, that's my saturday morning for you.

luckily baby was understanding enough to give in to me, even though i flared up at him for a couple of times for no reasons. thanks baby.(:

The supposed plan was to go to ikea then from there to great world city for island creamery,movies then to sentosa to watch songs of the sea. Haha, but us being us, we dilly-dallied and only managed to get our butts out of the house at 2 plus, so we put off our plan of going to ikea and went straight to great world(that's why i bought my pooh bear 10 years ago but the shop was no longer there!) instead cos our movie was at 4 plus.

that shopping mall was sure an inconvenient place to go to. So little buses that pass by and no mrt station, we had to alight at tiong bahru and take a bus there. The design of the shopping centre was weird in a way that it's very confusing and the shops are all messed up, but their toilets are really nice, all painted up.

Explored the maze mall a little but our main focus was to look for the mystery island creamery which of cos, turned out to be futile and i ended up filling my craving with Mac's 60 cents ice cream cone. oh, and we passed by a pet shop and stopped to look at the adorable hamsters!! so cute, i want to keep one!!

Street Kings was like 'HUH, CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE WHOLE MOVIE TO ME AGAIN?' when i came out of the threatre as baby was asking me if the show was nice. Haha, it's like a typical police-partner dies-findmurderer kind of movie, with a twist to the story. i would give it 3 stars, just because of the unexpected storyline to it, if not....i would recommend that you don't watch it. throughout the whole movie, i couldn't even figure who's the good guy and who'e the bad, someone should ask me out for a chinese movie instead, cos i realised i got problems understanding english shows.

After the movie, we went on a food hunt down the streets until we finally settled for Zion Hawker Centre (don't know if this is the correct name for it). the hawker centre has so many award-winning stalls that i'm spoilt for choice. then i decided to mi-ni-ma-ni-mi-ni-mor and ate prawn noodles which costs a bomb of $5! and that's the cheapest price. at least it was satisfying. the noodles was nice, the uncle gave a generous amount of prawns and the soup was heavenly, it's very soothing. it's one of the outlets of the famour prawn noodles located at adam road too, makansutra leh. i'm going back the next time, to try out the claypot tian ji cos it smells so nice when the person sitting besides us was eating and even said it was nice, another award winning!!!
