it was one of the best moments in my life.

it all started out to be a supposedly-normal-saturday-date, with Baby calling, asking me to wear jeans instead of skirt cos we were going on a shoehunt. Then, met up with Baby at clementi cos that piggy of mine only managed to wake up at 12! Surprisingly, he brought his REBEL bag along, which i found it weird cos he always like to be bag-free but he said he need to bring my hard disk along so i didn't probe further.

Headed to town to search for my office wear. Before the hunt, we decided to settle for Sakura as ounr lunch. We had a yummy crispy fish in thai sauce to ourselves, Salad youtiao and egg oysters. The salad youtiao was the nicest that i've ever tried!the mayonise tasted so good! As for the oysters with egg, we saw the table next to us having this and it looked very appealing, and we decided to change one dish to this. When it came, we were shocked that it was oysters with eggs cos when we saw it, there was no oysters but eggs! & baby doesn't eat oysters so i had to eat it all by myself.

While walking around, we were talking about Singapore's 2nd olympics medal, the discussion he went to attend with the rest of the AGD scholars about the national rally. Out of nowhere, i just got pissed off. It got so bad that he ignored me and pushed me away. For a while, both of us kept in silence. It's either him walking in front or it's me. It was that bad to the point that both of us almost wanted to head back home and i almost tear when he asked me what happened. I've really got no idea what's got over me these days. I got pissed over the slightest things and super sensitive. But we managed to clear up. Actually he was the one who gave in to me. (as always) =) Thank you, baby! you're the only one who could tolerate my nonsense.

So we had to walk Wisma & Taka all over again. Instead of looking for my office things, i bought some unnecessary things like a pink jacket from Isetan for 19 bucks only! It's a steal! & went to Dorothy Perkins to buy 3 tank tops for 33 bucks. It's my first time there and i really like the tank top i bought a lot! Going to buy more of the identical tank tops when i get my first pay!

Then we took a bus down to City Hall Station next to the church, where there was a shuttle bus service to the flyer for some Popeye cos he was having a craving for it. We waited and waited but it didn't come. So we had to walk there. THen i was complaining to him that he should have heed my advice of taking 171! You could have guessed that i was grumping all the way while we were walking there.

On our way, there was a big crowd that popped out from nowhere. Security guards and police were everywhere and barriers were also placed to keep order from the crowd. We squeezed our way through while thinking what event was held as everyone was heading towards the same place.

At the underpass, one tourist stopped by and asked us for direction to the place to watch fireworks. Baby was looking quite blur and pointed at one direction which doesn't seem convincing enough. So the tourist thanked us and decided to look for another more reliable source. Then, i was wondering about what fireworks they were talking about.

All the way from esplanade to the flyer, there's human traffic. We could only walk ant-like steps at a time and every few steps, we had to stop, wait and walk again. We did this over and over again until we reached the floating platform. We were stuck in the crowd for almost 30 minutes before we managed to walk past the crowd to the flyer. Everyone was heading to the floating platform for some event. There's many activities going on in there, such as military bands playing, Uncle Ringo and many small stalls set up.

By the time we reached the flyer, it was around 8 and POPEYE was super duper crowded though this outlet was like 3 times bigger than the one at Terminal 3. The problem wasn't about getting a seat, the problem was about queuing. The queue was HORRIBLE. Each queue has about 20 people in it and every queue was like that for 4 counters.

Baby waited angrily for about 40 mins before he reached his turn. 40 minutes okay! WHO WAITS FOR A FASTFOOD MEAL FOR 40 MINS!!!!!!!???? That's no longer FASTFOOD but SLOWFOOD. Fast food is called fast food because of the speed they serve for their food. I was feeling quite hungry, from all the squeezing and seeing other people finishing their food was making it worse. People ate and left, ate and left but our food was not served yet!!!!
