my heavensent :)you'd nv know how sweet this boy was on our anniversary day.i was watching Dan in real life on pps halfway and i heard the doorbell rang.i opened the door and saw a bouquet of sunflowers at my doorstep.then i started smiling, cos i know it must be from baby.when i went to pick up the flowers, baby suddenly popped out from nowhere and hugged me.that silly boy, he was supposed to be stuck in camp this weekend but he went to apply half-day leave to accompany me. =DActually, i sort of expected that he was up to something cos when my sis asked me to go to batam with her, he kept asking to me stay at home and i wasn't supposed to go anywhere, which was kind of abnormal. No matter what, i still love this suprise and i appreciate it a lot. Then he asked me to lie on the bed, blindfolded me and gave me another surprise! :) We spent quite a long while lazing on the bed and thinking of where to go. In the end, we only left house at 5 plus and headed to Vivo, with the plan of eating our dinner and finding our anniversary cake there before we head off to the i-dunno-what's-the-name park at alexandra road Henderson Park.
Dinner was at Asian Kitchen and we had Cereal Fried Rice, Zha Jiang Mian, Sliced Fish and Mixed Fruits Sago. The moment i saw the cereal fried rice on the menu, immediately i was like 'okok! i want this!' Being a lover for cereal prawns, this is a die-die must try dish and it turned out to be not bad after all. :)
So being our anniversary, baby broke his anti-picture habits and took lots of pictures of me, him and us!
him, playing with my 5.0 megapixel phone
he said i could send this to mediacorp for those food showsAfter dinner, we decided to go grocery shopping at GIANT! :) i know i know, it's kind of weird going all the way there to buy groceries but we wanted to tried out new things on our anniversary day. So i asked baby for a one-dollar coin, put the coin in and off we go for our grocery shopping with a trolley! We were really excited about this and we said that even if we had nothing in mind to buy, we can just pretend to be buying something and then said when we reached the counter, we said that we don't want the things anymore! Haha. When we combed almost half of the supermarket, our trolley was still filled with nothing until baby decided to buy things back to his camp. So in the end, we got honeystars, maggee, peanut butter, one bottle of ice mountain and a big packet of potatoes chips!
looking carefully at the place of the product, in case it's from china
he actually posed this for me haha

when we were at the kids section on the second storey, he saw this.fits him huh?
When we were done with our grocery shopping, we went to hunt for our anniversary cake. He wanted to settle it for a cake at BreadTalk but i said i wanted to try out awfully chocolate so we walked around the whole of vivo and we couldn't find the shop. I was so disappointed but in the end we realised that it was still there, hiding at a corner. :) The shop is very simple and it looks almost as if it's not done with its renovation yet. But i guess they wanted to keep it simple and nice. So we bought a chocolate banana cake. i tell you the cake is awfully sinful but it's also awfully delicious. It's coated with chocolate cream and it's made of chocolate sponge layers and there's banana layering in between. It tastes so chocolatety!
Then, we walked around for a while and we decided not to go to the park anymore since it was getting late and we were carrying so many things on our hands. We went to look at baby's and my desired F480 phone. We explored the phone, checked out its sensitive touchscreen and immediately baby made up his mind for that phone. i wanted that phone too! it's so light, so sensitive, but i've already got my LG viewty! :(
We walked past Long John Silver and saw the shop where there's tables and paints for kids to do drawings. So we decided to postpone our trip to the park and went into the shop instead. I chose a penguin drawing (cos baby likes penguins) and gave it to the sales assistant. She placed the drawing into the oven to melt it and we were ready to colour them. It was quite an awkward situation for us cos we were the only BIG KIDS there and the rest of them were 10 years and below. Then i was asking baby whether he felt embarrased to be sitting on the little stool with me doing this and he said,' of cos not, as long as you like it.' he's super sweet, isn't he? :)

the painting that i chose.
it wasn't supposed to have eyes like that but somehow after the oven-ing, it became like this.
i was very excited about getting my hands on it!
concentrating very hard on putting the colours.i was painting the male penguine and he was painting me!
naughty baby coloured my eye white and red cos he said must make it as real life as possible.hmph!
colouring the ribbon
final product! still sticky and wet. When we were done, we gave it back to the lady again and she placed them in the oven.
this time it takes longer for it to dry, took it out, placed it in cold water and
TADA!
its really fun and it only costs us $5.50, depending on the pictures you chose
trying to imitate the male penguin's eyes
i was asking baby why it's 3 stalks instead of 5, then he replied that 3 is the perfect number.
it's not too little, not too many.
if i buy 5, next year i must buy 6, the next next year i must buy 7!
Then we took 97 home and continued to laze around on my bed.

tired baby was ignoring me while i continued to take peektures.

then we were making funny faces

with my flowers while waiting for baby to come out of the shower. We were waiting for time to reach 12.10 am (the time when he called me 5 years ago) before we took out the cake and went to my sis' room to light up the cake.

chocolate-banana!
baby's unqiue style of putting the candles onto the cake.
5 candles representing 5 years!
We off the lights and sang:happy anniversary to us,
happy anniversary to us,
happy anniversary to us......
happy anniversary to us!!
=)
Both of us ate a slice of the sinful cake and went off to bed!
i'm really really happy to be able to spend such a memorable day with you!

THANK YOU BABY, FOR ALL THE THINGS YOU'VE DONE.
NOT JUST TODAY, BUT EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THINGS YOU'VE DONE FOR ME FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS.
I LOVE YOU.
HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY, BABY.
p/s: can't wait for 1st nov when we officially celebrate our anniversary!
