♥ Catching up
my three-year old laptop died on me AGAIN. for the second time in a WEEK!
There's a bluescreen that kept appearing and the laptop just restart by itself for no apparent reason! It caused me so much problem and i couldn't even get my things done!
This Acer laptop has accompanied me through my poly years but i seriously doubt it would be able to survive throughout my uni. That day when i made my first trip to the service center, i asked if i'm able to extend my warranty or something but the technician told that i've already reached the maximum number of years for it and there's no point cos the parts are getting obsolete. So, if my laptop has any problem again, that's it. I would have to pay for repair expenses.
I'm actually contemplating on getting a new one, a VAIO!, but i'm seriously broke now! =(
But it also depends on which university i would be going to. If i'm going to SIM, i might just be able to survive through with this laptop. & for now, my laptop is still in rather good condition, if it's not going to spoil for the third time any time soon!
Oh well, see how everything goes before i make a decision.
After sending my laptop for repair, i made my way to Baby's house while he's on his way home from his physiotherapy. & the sweetest boy made my day by surprising me with my favourite duck rice for lunch! =D
Spent the afternoon with him lazing around, before he sent me to HarbourFront. I then took NEL to Clarke Quay to meet Sin Han, my gic colleague, for dinner and catching up! I was supposed to meet up with him months ago but this outing was postponed for a few times due to other plans.
We had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market. We ordered two sets of Fish & Chips cos they were having some promotions and i had my favourite Tropical Breeze. It's still as nice as ever!
With a full stomach, we went across to Cafe Iguana for a drink. It was my first time there and the place has quite a nice ambience. Sin Han recommended Margarita (i don't know if it's the correct spelling) which Cafe Iguana is famous for. Sin Han ordered Peach Margarita and both of us shared the gigantic drink. When the drink was served, i was totally shocked of the size of the drink. Even though i had been warned by Sin Han about it, i had no idea that it was that big!But the drink wasn't too bad. It has a fruity taste with tequila in it.
It was getting late so we left Clarke Quay around 10 plus and it was home sweet home. =)
i didn't realise my hair was this long until i saw this picture.
